wp-firebase-push-notification

This plugin looks a lot like a proof of concept about the ability to send FCM notifications from WordPress, but doesn’t even do the minimum things required by such functionality. The notification just includes a fixed text (not even customizable) and nothing more: no post ID or URL, no post subject, nothing; so it is impossible by the receiving entity to identify the post from which the notification was originated. And it is too bad, because this apparently looks like a good start (and apparently the only plugin of this kind that is currently actually working)

This plugin may be useful for developers who set up a firebase server with everything to push notifications on mobile phones but if you’re not familiar with it, you lose.

I installed this plugin, but wasn’t working. I reported it to the plugin developers and they fixed it immediately.
